If you are interested in applying for the Vermont Horse Patrol as either a ranger or a cadet, please download the application form on this page. The mailing address is on the form...just fill it out, send it back, and you'll be on your way to becoming one of the highest trained, elite riders in this part of the country.

If you have a horse you think would be a good candidate for the unit but you are not planning to join along with your horse, please call or email for further instructions. (Horses need not complete the essay question!)
